Ever think, “I need a vacation!!”?

(Maybe a better question is “how many times a week do you think that?”)

With jobs, kids, school, work, house stuff, activities, hobbies, exercise, and other commitments– life gets busy. Real busy.

While we’re not paying attention, that busy-ness can quickly turn to unmanaged stress. We can go a little while on a hectic schedule, but not for long. It always catches up, whether it’s through intensified frustration, aches & pain, or the beginnings of illness.

That’s one reason I like the concept of The Cozy Home Spa products, because they’re simple, easy-to-make, easy-to-use options for relieving stress and taking a break. You need to take it easy! We all do.

Today’s Cozy Home Spa Tip

  • Pick a “spa morning” for yourself one day this week. Maybe just an hour in the morning before you head out to the frenzy of life. Look forward to attending just as you would any appointment at the spa!
  • Start off with an oatmeal & milk bath– 2 cups of oatmeal and 1 cup of fresh or powdered milk.
  • Take a nice soak, and when you’re finished, pull out your iPod with some cozy songs, and do simple stretches and Maybe a short walk around the neighborhood.
  • Finish with a cold glass of water and a chocolate mint or cup of tea!
